I started in 1990 with Metropolitan Life, now MetLife. Since then I have worked with many insurance companies, agencies and call centers, and for many years now I have been an independent broker.
Being independent means I represent many insurance companies, as many as your situation needs, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Humana, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna. Limiting your choice to one company would not be fair to you.
I work mostly with people on Medicare or close to retirement, in an old-fashioned way, where respect and honesty are how business is done. I am on Medicare myself. At my age I do not like surprises, and I do not want you to have any either.
My service does not end when you enroll. A plan is really tested later, at a claim, when a doctor leaves the network, or when your life changes. That is when you should be able to reach me.
From choosing your plan to using it, I’ll be there when you need me.
How I work
- No secretary, no call center, no bot between you and me. Mostly by phone and text.
- I listen first, then look at the choices against your actual situation.
- I do not push one company or one product. Sometimes the right answer is not the obvious insurance product.
- There is no cost to you for my services. And you have my lifetime warranty on the service I provide. That is, for my lifetime.
Why the sailboat
